Abstract

The following paper presents part of the conclusions from the first year of archaeological work in the Researching Plan of Fundación Uncastillo in the Roman city of Los Bañales (Uncastillo, Zaragoza), in the East part of ancient Vascones´ territory. We argue here the urban and municipal character of the settlement, come over on the functional comprehension of some of its singular buildings (temple and porticus space), present some new findings related with the situation of its burial area and, of course, try to give some new lights on the problem of the aqueduct line also with new interesting evidences and fundings and some reinterpretations on the plan of the well-known Roman baths of the city, specially developed between I and II century AD.
