Abstract

Work and family are two areas where most human interaction takes place. An investigation carried out in Argentina in 2013, allows us to analyze what are the priorities in the work and family agendas of managers of the company. The difficulty manifesting the businessmen have to achieve a personal life more harmonious, especially women, is still an unresolved issue. On the other hand, the ability to develop motivation to work, giving priority to service to others, is not the most characteristic of the content of their work. We will try to deepen why of these realities and demonstrate that both are not independent, but that there is a relationship between the main motivation to work and the ability to the work familiy balance. Through the development of indicators of conciliation and transcendence to work with different analysis of correlation between them, we will analyze if both behaviors are related.
