El sentido de la vida en la encíclica "Fides et ratio"

#TITULO: EL SENTIDO DE LA VIDA EN LA ENCÍCLICA FIDES ET RATIO #RESUMEN: En la Encíclica Fides et ratio Juan Pablo II preocupado por el escepticismo presente en la filosofía propone volver a plantear la cuestión del sentido de la vida. En el presente trabajo se aborda la cuestión desde el punto de vista filosófico, desde una doble vertiente: sistemática e histórica. El trabajo comienza con el análisis de las diversas acepciones que la filosofía ha dado a los términos 'vida' y 'sentido'. Con estos términos la filosofía recupera - o conserva inconscientemente - algunas nociones que se creían superadas: la naturaleza y la condición humana, la libertad, la finalidad y el bien. A lo largo del trabajo intentamos demostrar que cuestionarse por el sentido de la vida es una consecuencia de la libertad y de la originalidad del bien. Sin el bien la acción carecería de término y la libertad no sería posible. En la segunda parte de la tesis analizamos la respuesta que ha dado a la cuestión del sentido de la vida el existencialismo y el naturalismo. A raíz del primero abordamos la relación que existe entre el mal, la libertad y la existencia de Dios. Por su parte, el naturalismo nos lleva a explicar que lo natural, en el hombre, no puede ser conocido de manera evidente} sino racional, a través de la historia, de la cultura y del lenguaje. En la última parte del trabajo se señala que la racionalidad sólo se alcanza a través de la trascendencia, al salir de uno mismo, rompiendo la tendencia al dominio, característica de los brutos. La apertura a la trascendencia es lo que hace al hombre capaz de conocer la vida en toda su radical i dad. Esto es, como don y misterio. Para explicar el misterio de la vida es precisa la colaboración de la fe y la razón. (Palabras clave: naturaleza; acción humana; teleología; autonomía; destino; existencialismo; naturalismo) In the Encyclical 'Faith and reason' John Paul ii, worried by the skepticism present in philosophy, proposes a return to the quest for the meaning of life. In the present work the question is approached from the philosophical viewpoint, with a dual focus: systematic and historical. The work begins with the analysis of the different meanings that philosophy has given to the terms 'life' and 'meaning'. With these terms philosophy recovers - or preserves unconsciously - some notions that were thought to have been overcome: human nature and condition, freedom, teleology and the good. Throughout the work we demonstrate that the quest for meaning of life is a consequence of freedom and of the originality of the good. Without the good, action would lack an end and freedom would not be possible. In the second part of the thesis we analyze the answers that existentialism and natural ism have given to the question of the meaning of life. In response to the first we approach the relation that exists between evil, freedom and God's existence. On the other hand, naturalism leads us to explain that what is natural in man cannot be known in an evident manner but rationally; through history, culture and language. The last part of the work indicates that rationality can only be achieved by means of the transcendent, by going out of one oneself, breaking the tendency to dominate, characteristic of brutes. The openness to the transcendent is what makes man capable of understanding life in all its radicands, that is, as a gift and as a mystery. in order to explain the mystery of life a collaboration of faith and reason is necessary.(Key words: human nature; human condition; teleology; autonomy; destiny; existentialism; naturalism; culture
