Abstract
The current educational model based on competencies has brought a number of changes affecting the teaching-learning process and particularly to the methodology used, an issue that is central to the new models of teacher training. Improve the professional skills of future graduates is a challenge that they are required to university integrating teaching competences and an appropriate way to evaluate them. Common reflection between teachers is an essential element to promoting methodological coordination. The present work is a description of an experience for the teaching of language and mathematics in the degree of Learning and Teaching Sciences ("Education"). The main mode of addressing this issue is through a transversal methodology. We are aware of the context of the competences and the need to provide a framework that allows students the implementation of learning and reflection about it. Formative assessment is a key element to achieve it.
