Abstract

Sociological and pedagogical concepts are placed on the basis of a broader and more flexibleidea of education that makes some kind of social environments into learning experiences. That is the case of museums. From this initial point of view, accessibility is understood in thesense of how each diverse individual may enjoy the educational potential that museums offer.A qualitative case study is developed to identify diverse visitors’ special needs and foretellthe kind of intervention and help they may require to make the most out of the educationalprogram offered by the Museum University of Navarra.
