Abstract
The chronicle is a model of representation of the reality in whom a journalist, as witness, narrates and describes an event from an individual and interpretative perspective. The present article tries to systematize the different qualities that the professional should assemble when elaborating chronicles for radio. It is a complex task, especially because the chronicle is a genre that offers margin to the expressive freedom of his author. For this reason, maybe more that to present an extensive relation of the different professional requirements, it would be more convenient to describe a minimal baggage that should always accompany the chronicler. This baggage understood as attitudes and professional habits that are translated then in journalistic routines, is the one described in this article.
