Abstract
This article discusses the present of metaphysics, the recovery for philosophical debate of "philosophical brands" as realism and speculation, the causes and arguments supporting the thesis of the metaphysic’s end, and, not least, the ideas that articulate the movement called “ new realism ” and its principal authors
