Abstract

It has been widely considered by literature whether civil war diminishes trade between neighbouring countries or if there is a direct harm affecting trade coming from military conflict. This work evaluates the test disruption premise by the means of a study of facts and data, supported by an empirical analysis. Our arguments are going to be contextualized in the Syrian conflict and, more specifically, in its direct impact on Lebanese trade.
