Abstract

Every human group is defined differently from the others and those others, the excluded, can be different for different reasons. In this paper, we will focus on the exclusion of (post)modern Western societies and, more specifically, on two types of exclusion: political and economic. The political one that we will expose taking into account the thought of Arendt, demands a space of appearance for all, but does not modify the liberal structure. The economic one will be treated from the point of view of Zibechi, who presents the different ways in which the excluded create community and city because they are active political subjects that form territories in resistance. This way of acting from exclusion breaks with liberal politics.
