Resumo
Some years ago, was held in Pamplona the Congress ‘Architecture: Change of Climate, in which some emerging architects and others already recognized, boasted, with great success, the mastery of the virtual means of generating representations of architectural projects, with which they seduced the public; as it is frequent in the means of diffusion of the architecture in this moment; In this way, through fantastic images, they avoided the debate about the true challenges that architecture has today in the world, posing the discussion in the realm of the formal and the fantastic. Utopia, a traditional engine of history, even in the failed ‘proletarian paradises’, now seems to give way its presence to the illusory virtual reveries, which endanger the very essence of architecture, as a necessary response to the real-life social requirements .
