Abstract

The Permanent Structure Cooperation (PESCO) in the field of security and defense is promoting technological research projects and development of new capabilities for the modernization of the European armed forces among European States. Despite the limitations, the high degree of commitments assumed augurs good prospects for the Union as a whole.
