Zusammenfassung
The author underlines the ability of liturgical texts to open wide horizons to the mystery of Christian prayer, forging a style of theological and lively prayer. He reflects on a Lent collect in the Roman Missal, which is absent in Pius V’s Missal, and is deeply anchored in the best tradition of the Roman lex orandi. The text presents an extremely theocentric accent and contains an expression –«in oratione tua semper efficiamur concordes»– whose translation implies different nuances. Its analysis poses some possibilities that illuminate its deep theological understanding.
