Abstract
The 1982 Munich Document was a milestone in Catholic-Orthodox dialogue. Despite the doctrinal proximity in both theologies to the concepts of the Trinity, Church and Eucharist, convergences in the ecclesiology of communion had not yet been formalized. The Trinity is involved and present in the celebration of the Eucharist, which in turn forms the Church. The differences mainly concern the respective ecclesiological conceptions, in which only the local, or even the universal, dimension is considered.
