Resumen

En estas líneas estudiamos la teología del trabajo en Lutero a través de sus principales obras, así como las recientes aportaciones en este ámbito confesional a partir de la doctrina del reformador. Por un lado, el trabajo es presentado por estos autores como una continuación de la creación, sin apenas referirse al trabajo de Jesús, más que en lo que se refiere a las alusiones a la teología de la cruz. Además, está latente la cuestión de si el trabajo es castigo divino, consecuencia del pecado original, o algo relacionado con la propia vocación del cristiano. Esta concepción evoluciona con el tiempo en autores luteranos recientes. En fin, es abordada aquí la cuestión de si esta concepción del trabajo es más de orden social-espiritual, o si presenta también una fundamentación teológica.
