"La Iglesia como sacramento. Propuestas contemporáneas sobre una noción eclesiológica". Palabras clave: Iglesia, sacramento, Eclesiología. La tesis fundamental que se defiende en este estudio es que la noción de Iglesia-sacramento es relevante para la Eclesiología e iluminadora a la hora de abordar ciertas cuestiones actuales en el debate teológico. Entre ellas, sobresalen dos: la salvación «fuera» del marco visible de la Iglesia y la relación de la Iglesia con los sacramentos. La investigación comienza con la consideración de los precedentes de dicha noción y los textos del Concilio Vaticano II sobre la sacramentalidad eclesial. A continuación, se examina la recepción posconciliar tanto en la teología como en el magisterio. Se presta especial atención a lo que se denomina como «propuestas contemporáneas», es decir, reflexiones de teólogos recientes que han tomado la sacramentalidad como eje de su Eclesiología o han aportado algo nuevo sobre la temática. Se da particular relevancia a Y. Congar, O. Semmelroth, Ch. Journet, J.-H. Nicolas, P. Rodríguez, K.-H. Menke, A. Scola, Ch. Gouyaud y S. Pié-Ninot. "The Church as Sacrament. Contemporary Proposals on an Ecclesiological Notion". Key words: Church, sacrament, Ecclesiology. The fundamental thesis defended in this study is that the notion of Church-sacrament is relevant to Ecclesiology and illuminating when it comes to addressing certain current issues in the theological debate. Among them, two stand out: salvation «outside» the visible framework of the Church and the relationship of the Church with the sacraments. The dissertation begins with the consideration of the precedents of this notion and the texts of the Second Vatican Council on ecclesial sacramentality. This is followed by an examination of the post-conciliar reception in both the theology and the magisterium. Special attention is paid to what are known as «contemporary proposals», that is, reflections of recent theologians who have taken sacramentality as the focus of their Ecclesiology or have contributed something new to the subject. Particular prominence is given to Y. Congar, O. Semmelroth, Ch. Journet, J.-H. Nicolas, P. Rodríguez, K.-H. Menke, A. Scola, Ch. Gouyaud and S. Pié-Ninot. Finally, the proposal of the French Dominican B.-D. de La Soujeole is highlighted as particularly significant in questions like, for example, the relationship between the salvific sacramentality of the Church and non-Christian religions.
