Resumen
A prototype for tracking the respiratory movement during patients, treatment planning tomographic images has been developed. The method is bases on video images of the patiente: a program analisis the images in real time and calculates the trajectories of one or more points on the patient’s surface. The accuracy of motion tracking has been studied and the results have been compared with those of a commercial system. The measurements showed that the prototype measures with enough spatial (1 mm) and temporal (0.1 s) accuracy to track respiratory movements.
