Zusammenfassung

The article presents information on the research conducted to stimulate the response of a large-scale net of neurons elicited by a chirp. Biological neurons have a dependent frequency-response while, in visual and auditory systems, there are some stimulation frequencies with enhanced response. The scientists have recently developed a new stimulation paradigm for the evaluation of this auditory system and confirmed that for the auditory system, this frequency is in the 40 Hz range.
