Abstract

The primary objective of the cardiovascular system is to transport energy sources from the intestine and liver, and oxygen from the lungs, to all organs for metabolism. No less important, is the removal of waste products from metabolism and their conduction to the lungs, kidneys and liver for excretion. In the present paper, the determinants of cardiac output are studied in depth.
