Résumé

Proximal tibio-fibular joint dislocation is an unusual injury which is frequently overlooked on first assessment. When diagnosed in the acute phase, immediate reduction is necessary and percutaneous stabilization is possible, with satisfactory prognosis. In chronic instability or dislocation, the optimal treatment is unknown. Anatomic reconstruction with the aim of restoring joint cinematics seems to be nevertheless necessary. We present a case of percutaneous treatment for stabilization of acute proximal tibio-fibular joint dislocation with excellent clinical and functional outcome
