Resum

Tires are a fundamental element in daily life. However, after reaching their life span, they have an enormous complexity to be recycled, so one of the strategies to be reused consists of shredding, grinding, and separating the other textile and metal components to obtain tire powder. Tire powder obtained by this method has been used in the production of various valuable products for society and industrial sectors such as the construction and automotive industries. One of the most attractive applications is its use as an ingredient in the formulation of treads for the manufacture of solid or agricultural tires, studded or studless snow tires, and tires for automobiles and passenger cars. Its use as a formulation ingredient is intended to reduce manufacturing costs and increase some final properties and the durability of the products obtained, thereby converting it into a value-added material and closing the sustainable cycle of tires at the end of their useful life
