Abstract
In this Doctoral Thesis four families of organic compounds have been synthesized, purified and characterized. Two of them are based on a structure where the central ring is a triazole group, while in the other two the central ring is a tetrazole group. Next, the biological evaluation of the antitumor capacity of all the synthesized compounds has been carried out. To this end, it has been determined: their cell viability against different cell lines, both tumor and normal; their interaction with proteins related to the tumor process, such as PD-L1, CD-47, IL-6, TNF-α, c-Myc and VEGFR-2; their immunomodulatory capacity in conditions similar to those of the tumor microenvironment; and the promotion of the apoptosis process. The results reflect a potent immunomodulatory activity of all compounds, particularly those tetrazoles with an amino group in para relative position to the phenyl ring attached directly to the tetrazole.
