Doctor by the Pontificia Università della Santa Croce with the thesis La representación vicaria (Stellvertretung) en la teología de Joseph Ratzinger 2019. Supervised by Dr. Paul O'Callaghan.

Borja Lleó is a professor of Moral Theology at the Faculty of Theology of the University of Navarra. He holds a degree in Industrial Engineering from the Polytechnic University of Catalonia (2010) and a doctorate in Theology from the Pontifical University of the Holy Cross (2019). He received a scholarship for his doctoral studies from the Joseph Ratzinger/Benedict XVI Vatican Foundation. Before joining the University of Navarra, he taught Theological Anthropology at the Pontifical University of the Holy Cross. His main areas of interest are fundamental moral theology, the history of moral theology, and the thought of Joseph Ratzinger. Since 2023, he has been a priest of the Prelature of Opus Dei, combining his teaching and research with the exercise of his priestly ministry.
