Fernández-Gubieda Lacalle

My name is Santiago Fernández-Gubieda (London, 1975). I am currently working at University of Navarra (Spain). I hold the position of Chief Reputation Officer and the Executive Director of the Centre for University Governance and Reputation, dedicated to training, research and consultancy in university governance and reputation projects. I am a member of the of the World 100 Reputation Network Committee, a professional association that promotes training, research and best practices in university reputation. I am also a member of the European Council for Advancement and Support Education (CASE). I am also working of the academic committee and organiser of the University of Navarra's reputation conferences and strategic management courses for higher education leaders. I have a Doctorate cum laude in Communication from the University of Navarra, with a thesis entitled "Conceptual framework of reputation. Implications for university management" and author of the book "A memorable experience. How to cultivate the reputation of universities" (Eunsa, 2023). Lecturer at international conferences on corporate communication and reputation management in universities: conceptual framework of reputation, operational model for professional practice, stakeholder management, organisational listening, etc. Among the recent conferences, I have participated in the annual conferences of World 100, CASE, High School of Economics of St. Petersburg and Building Universities Reputation. I have developed consultancy activities in the field of strategic management and corporate communication in universities such as the Polytechnic University of Valencia, the Catholic University of Valencia, the University of Piura (Peru), the Pan-American University (Mexico) and the Bio-Medical Campus of Rome (Italy). I teach Reputation and Communication in the Masters in Managing People in Organisations and Management of Communication Companies. Between 2014 and 2018, I was Director of Communication at the Clínica Universidad de Navarra, in Pamplona and Madrid. Finally, I have a degree in Journalism with a Diploma in Philosophical Studies and an MBA in Media from the University of Navarra - IESE Business School.) I am the author of several scientific articles, informative works and books.
