Doctor by the Universidad del País Vasco - Euskal Herriko Unibertsitatea with the thesis Electrogeneración de polipirrol en medio acuoso cinética y propiedades 1993. Supervised by Dr. Toribio Fernández Otero.

PhD in Chemical Sciences from the University of the Basque Country. She was a postdoctoral researcher at the University of Southampton (United Kingdom, 1994- 1996) and at the Institute of Catalysis and Petrochemistry of the CSIC (1997-2000). In 2001 I joined the Department of Chemistry at the University of Navarra and I currently belong to the BIOMA institute. My research activity focuses on atmospheric and indoor pollution and its effects on human health and ecosystems.
