Doctor by the Universidad de Navarra with the thesis "Las costumbres como fundamento de la sociedad democrática en la ""democracia en américa"" de Alexis Toqueville" 2007. Supervised by Dr. Concepción Naval Durán, Dr. Francisco Javier Laspalas Pérez.
Aránzazu Albertos is a Professor at the Faculty of Education and Psychology at the University of Navarra. She is a researcher on the INFINITY project at the Institute for Culture and Society. Her research focuses on positive or structured leisure activities, self-control, and positive parenting as protective factors against risky behavior in adolescents. She has completed a one-year pre-doctoral research stay in Rome and a post-doctoral stay in the project “Adolescents and alcohol” at Utrecht University (Netherlands). She has participated in two completed projects: one regionally funded by the Cajanavarra Foundation and another by the Health Research Fund (Ministry of Economy and Competitiveness, Carlos III Health Institute). She is currently participating in a project (2023-2026) also funded by the Health Research Fund (Ministry of Economy and Competitiveness, Carlos III Health Institute): “Longitudinal analysis of the determinants of intimate partner violence in Spanish adolescents. Follow-up of the Yourlife project.”
