Doctor by the Universidad de Navarra with the thesis La filosofía de Arthur danto ante la profecía hegeliana del “fin del arte” 2016. Supervised by Dr. Montserrat Herrero, Dr. Jacinto Rivera de Rosales Chacón.

Raquel Cascales, PhD in Philosophy (2016). She has been a Visiting Scholar at The Warburg Institute (London, 2018) and at Columbia University (New York, 2022). She is currently a professor at the University of Navarra, where she teaches Anthropology and Ethics in Design, as well as Aesthetics and Theory of the Arts in the Philosophy department. She also teaches in the Master’s Program in Curatorial Studies and the Master's Degree in Design and Management of Hospitality Services. Her research focuses on the theoretical and practical boundaries between aesthetics, art, and other disciplines, with a special interest in everyday aesthetics and the aesthetics of care. Her publications include El fin del arte. Hegel y Danto cara a cara (2020), Arte y transformación social (Dykinson, 2023), Cuidado con la Estética (Dykinson, 2024). She is a member of the research groups "Religion and Civil Society" at the Institute for Culture and Society (ICS) and the Contemporary Aesthetics and Art Group at the University of Navarra. She has participated in various research projects and serves on the board of the Spanish Society for Aesthetics and Art Theory (SEyTA).
