Francesco Vincenzo Giarmoleo holds the position of Assistant Professor (Ayudante Doctor) at the ISSA School of Management of the University of Navarra (Pamplona, Spain) since September 2024. He completed his Ph.D. in Economics and Business at the University of Navarra between 2020 and 2024, with a dissertation titled "A Virtue Ethics Framework for Artificial Intelligence", supervised by Professors Ignacio Ferrero and Marta Rocchi. In 2020, he completed a Master in Global Marketing, Communication & Made in Italy. Previously, in 2019, he obtained a Master's degree in Economics and Management from the University of Rome Tor Vergata (Italy), graduating with honors with a thesis titled "Performance Evaluation of State-Owned Enterprises: The Construction of the Public Sector Value Model for the Italian Polygraphic Institute and State Mint." Francesco has published the following academic works. The article "What Ethics Can Say on Artificial Intelligence: Insights from a Systematic Literature Review" in the journal "Business and Society Review". He also authored the chapter “A Virtue Ethics Approach” in the book “Disruptive Digitalisation and Platforms: Risks and Opportunities of the Great Transformation of Politics, Socio-economic Models, Work, and Education”. In teaching, he served as a Teaching Assistant at the University of Navarra from 2021 to 2024, participating in courses such as Marketing Research and Marketing I, teaching in both Spanish and English. Francesco has held various service roles, including serving as a reviewer for the journal "European Management Review". He also was the Executive Assistant to the Program Chair of the Society for Business Ethics (SBE) 2022 Annual Conference in Seattle (US). He was awarded as an “Emerging Scholar” at the SBE 2023 Congress and was the recipient of a Teaching Assistant Scholarship at the University of Navarra between 2020 and 2024. Francesco has participated as a speaker at numerous international conferences, including the SBE 2024 Congress (Chicago, United States, August 8-11, 2024), the ESSEC-LUISS Workshop (Paris, France, May 16-17, 2024), the EURAM 2023 Annual Conference (Dublin, Ireland, June 13-16, 2023), the ISBEE World Congress 2022 (Bilbao, Spain, July 20-22, 2022), and the EURAM 2022 Annual Conference (Zurich, Switzerland, June 15-17, 2022).
