Resumen

La piel es uno de los órganos más accesibles, por lo que nunca debería menospreciarse como síntoma guía en las enfermedades sistémicas. A menudo, la piel representa un signo de alerta en los procesos internos, por lo que una mayor conciencia de esto nos llevará a pensar en procesos malignos ante las alteraciones cutáneas. Es importante en la práctica clínica general estar familiarizado con los signos cutáneos que pueden llevar a un diagnóstico precoz de neoplasia. La exploración física de la piel tiene la ventaja de proporcionar al clínico una valiosa información diagnóstica sin la necesidad de técnicas invasivas.
