Abstract

In which ways could internal communication help to generate innovative atmospheres inside companies? Professionals and academics of communication and human resources management have largely discussed this topic. The main objective of this article is to show how internal communication can influence the encouragement of innovation inside firms. First of all, a literature review on the internal communication and innovation topics is offered. Secondly, an original proposal on the ways internal communication can lead to the promotion of innovation within firms based on five strategic points is being displayed. Finally, continuous training, innovative talent attraction or more participative atmospheres in the workplace are some of the main points that could lead to a more innovative and creative corporate culture.
