Resumen
The need to promote scientific literacy for all citizens and the development of a scientific culture brings us, in the university level, to try to improve initial teacher training. In this paper we show two experiences carried out in the context of teaching experimental science in the primary education degree: conducting experimental activities related to the contents and practice of service-learning at Science Museum of the University. We seek to encourage student participation and performing a community service, promoting their methodological training in science education.
