Abstract

We present two cases of Meigs' syndrome. This syndrome is characterized by ovarian tumor (fibroma, thecoma, granulosa cell tumors and Brenner's tumor) together with ascites and hydrothorax. Both cases presented elevated CA125 levels. We stress the importance of considering the benign nature of the process when computerized axial tomography shows the absence of peritoneal implants.
