Résumé

This work shows the process of capturing, evaluating and improving the Supply Chain Strategy (SCS) of a Uruguayan SME, with all the difficulties and particularities that involves in comparison to similar projects performed in larger companies. This project applied a variation of the Conceptual System Assessment and Reformulation (CSAR) methodology to a medium size company, leading to improvements to the company. The mentioned company works on the cleaning product market with a geographical scope that includes all the national territory, with products of its own and of international partners interested in reaching the Uruguayan market in a cost-effective way. This case study also presents the application of the methodology on a company that was undergoing a change of mid-term strategy, leading to dynamic challenges when trying to capture their SCS.
