de la Fuente Arias

Dr. Jesús de la Fuente Arias is a Professor of Educational Psychology in the Department of Psychology (2016). He was a professor at the University of Almería (UAL) from 1993 to September 2018, when he joined the Faculty of Education and Psychology at the University of Navarra as Vice Dean of Research and Director of the Master's Degree in General Health Psychology. He is currently a University Professor at the University of Navarra. He has focused his academic and research activity on the R&D&I Value Chain, applied to Educational Psychology. He has numerous national and international peer-reviewed and high-impact publications (231 publications, of which 170 articles, 24 books, 18 chapters), with 160 presentations and symposia. He holds four CNAI research awards (the most recent in 2021) and an H index of 43. He has led six national R&D projects as a PI with broad international reach and participated in a total of 10 R&D projects. Of these, six are related to knowledge promotion (2003-2006; 2007-2010; 2012-2015; 2028-2021; 2023-2026) and one is a proof-of-concept project (2022-2024). All of them focus on the study of self-regulation in learning and, more recently, on regulatory contexts in education and health. He is Director of the HUM-746 Research Group (UAL, 2001-2018) and of the Psychological Processes in Education, Health and Organizations Group (UNAV, 2018-2021). He is Founder and Editor-in-Chief of the Electronic Journal of Research in Educational Psychology (UAL). Associate Editor of the journals Frontiers in Psychology (2010-present), Learning & Individual Differences (2018-present), and Learning and Instruction (2018-present). Regarding technological developments and transfer, he holds a total of 14 RPIs for ICT products. He was a promoter of the R&D&I Department at the EBT spin-off Education & Psychology R&D&I (UAL), as a Founding Partner and Scientific-Technological Director (2006-2018). He holds 56 R&D contracts for scientific-technological transfer. To contribute to expanding the vision of R&D&I in Psychology and Education, he launched the 1st International Congress on Psychology, Technological Innovation, and Entrepreneurship (Almería, 2018), in collaboration with the Official College of Psychology of Eastern Andalusia, where he served as its Scientific-Technological Director. From 2012 to 2018, he was a member of the prestigious Association of Psychologists of Eastern Andalusia. the Division of Educational Psychology (General Council of Psychology of Spain).
